Hello, I am Jose Antonio Diaz, the Center Director at North Fort Worth Child Development Center. I started my career with my CDA credential; then completed my AA in Child Development, and finally, earned my Bachelors Degree from Cambridge State University in Early Childhood Education in 2000. 

I am happily married with four children; one is serving in the US Navy, one in college, one is a high school junior, and one is in third grade. I enjoy being a handyman -- constructing and fixing things at home.  I like to participate in my daughter’s school activities and being involved in parent activities too. We like to go camping, fishing, canoeing, and outdoor activities like walking and swimming.

I started working with Head Start in El Paso more than 32 years ago. When we moved to the DFW area, I worked with Head Start of Greater Dallas for five years, and with The Child Care Group, a Head Start delegate agency for six years. Overall I have more than 32 years of experience working with Head Start children and families.
