My name is Virginia B. Prieto, and I am the Center Director at the Northside Child Development Center. I have worked with children of all ages for 35 years.  I first began my career in the Fort Worth ISD as a Substitute Teacher Assistant.  I have experience working in the community through employment with the YMCA, Salvation Army and the United Community Center.

I started at Child Care Associates as a Teacher Assistant and with training, experience and education I became a Center Director.

My volunteer work includes being elected as Elder of my Church and serving as Committee Chairperson for Service to the Needy, helping the community.

I am certified in Child Development and Management and Advance Management, and I have taken courses in Business Management at Tarrant County College.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and feel that my purpose in life is to assist families and children to maintain a better quality of life.
