Hello!  My name is Jo Ann Tate. I started in the child care field 26 years ago as a Teacher’s Assistant. Within months I became a Teacher and five years later I became an Assistant Supervisor. I am now the Director of Linda Kay Child Development Center in Hurst, Texas.

Attending workshops and training through the years have been very educational.  My goal in life is to give more, to expose children to new challenges, to guide, to say, “You can do it. We care. You’re special.”

Someday maybe our children can give back what was received and make life a little easier for us all. I continue to maintain my commitment to serving young children and families.
