| Experience: BA degree in Early Childhood Education
Provide in-classroom mentoring, role modeling and training for staff to enhance their abilities to provide children with developmentally appropriate classroom environments, schedules and hands-on learning opportunities. Children’s daily learning experiences are planned to promote physical, emotional and social development with an emphasis on literacy-based cognitive development; an increase in general knowledge; and conceptual thinking, listening comprehension, language development, phonological awareness, appreciation of books/reading, emergent letter/word recognition; and emergent written expression.
A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and five years experience in an early childhood setting are required. Bilingual preferred. Computer proficiency. Access to transportation.
