Child care is an important support for working parents. For children, access to high-quality child care programs can have enormous benefits. However, child care looms as one of the largest household expenses for today’s families. The annual cost of center-based care for one infant exceeds the average one-year cost of tuition in a public college.
Through CCA’s financial assistance programs, we help parents remain employed or gain an education while providing their children with positive educational experiences. This helps strengthen families, our workforce, and our entire community.
Child Care Associates manages $38 million annually in state funding for Tarrant County (CCMS) and West Central Texas (CCS), making quality child care possible for 12,000+ children from low-income families annually.
